iTunes Store Arrives in 12 Asian Countries

The iTunes store is now available in the following countries: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, and Sri Lanka.

Music tracks from local as well as international labels are available at prices from US$0.69 to US$1.29 per track and around US$9.99 for a full length album. Aside from Cantopop, K-Pop, and Mandopop categories, an OPM (Original Pilipino Music) section is also available, albeit with a few albums from a single record label at first.

Movies are also available to Rent (US$3.99) and Buy (US$14.99), and some are already offered in HD format (US$19.99).
