Getting Started with FileMaker Pro

Want to use a database to start organizing your business and share information with everyone? Here's how you can get started right now:

1. Download and install the 30-day trial of FileMaker Pro here. Click the "Try Now" link under FileMaker Pro 11. You don't need the other apps yet if you're getting started.

2. Download the FileMaker Pro 11 Tutorial PDF and run through it. You'll need to invest a few hours at the most, but it's worth it. Here's the FileMaker Tutorial Sample File if you need it.

3. Once you're done with the tutorial, you should have enough information to start using the 30 plus templates built-in to the FileMaker Pro app (yes, it's included in the trial). If you want to learn some more, the FileMaker Quick Start screen has links on the right part of the window for more resources, or you can go straight to the FileMaker Demos/Tutorials page.

Enjoy!
